pen is mightier than.......

Something different today, I save boxes and other stuff to (eventually) upcycle and use, this was a coco powder tub, which I turned into a pen holder for the desk at work, used CAP Steam Punk Curiosties digi kit.
Kept it clean and simple, just tied twine round the top.

Chopped up some random backing papers and used Ursula's Heart Cookie digi stamp from The Digi Garden (sadly missed) to make this card, loved how it turned out.

and here's Boe (as in Face of Boe, - Dr Who) but as its  prounonced bow and you can see from the photo, he wrecked my craft desk whilst I was doing this card, it was too cute to not show

 

 

please ignore the dinosaur wall paper, wasn't my choice! It was a little boys room before we moved in *cough* 16 years ago and its still there.......................

The old man was from a reproduction photo I found in the craft  drawer, cut him out and used some off-prints from a card I made.

I'm a member of a wonderful online group of crafters, we make cards/atcs etc and hold regular themed swaps. The group is based in the UK, but we have world-wide crafters too

Using off cuts from a Debbi Moore Shabby chic design sheet, I made this atc, as its going to be posted I didn't want too embellish it too much, uurrgh postage costs, so kept sticky out things too a minimum *lol* - dress maker pins and a couple of buttons, inked round the topper with Bronze, my favourite inky colour.
