Featured Day at Gecko Galz

Quick post today as I'm off to work *boohoo* - bank holiday weekend starts here.......

Keeping with the 'Asian Beauty' theme for this months Gecko Galz challenge, I decided to change tact and use flowers today - using papers from the 'Cherry Blossom Paper Pack' I printed three off which looked nice together, and made panels using the smallest square nesting die I have, stuck them onto a piece of white card and then backed that with a piece of pink card, which I also used for the sentiment. A quick, simple and pretty card which can stay in your card drawer for emergencies!

Asian Beauty Challenge for May

Over on the Gecko Galz blog, the challenge for May is 'Asian Beauty'. Feel free to join in and have a play - there is only one rule, and that is you need to use at least ONE product from Gecko Galz shop but it can be one of the free products, stamps, collage images, or digital papers!! The winner will receive a $25 Gecko Galz shopping spree.

I was rather stuck on what to do for this month, as I tend not to use such striking images or colours but after a few coffees I came up two cards.

Both 5x7's as the images suited that size better than my usual 6x6 - so out of my comfort zone!

The jewels in her headdress, on her shoulder and round her waist and belt are glittered but this doesn't really show up in the photo.

Hope I've piqued your attention, so hop over to the Gecko Galz, check out the rules and have a play!
