quick, clean, simple

just like me *lol*

Rainy afternoon so I thought a bit of sunny brightness required. Designed a quick & simple 5.5 x 5.5 card front for a birthday, when I print it off I will probably mat and layer it and stick actual buttons over the buttons.

purpletastic!

This card was done as commission for a lady who shares my passion for all things PURPLE!!! Having said that, I wanted to do understated purple... and this Delicious Doodles image (Love's Faded Memory) was perfect.

entered into: Delicious Doodles - a bit moody - the darkness against the light pretty swirly background is one way of describing  Depression, there are the two sides, lightness on the outside yet darkness hiding away in the inside. Depending on my mood, it can beautiful or full of darkness....

time to craft

No new craft for a bit, due to having a bad month and for the last week, a stinking cold which rendered me almost zombie like, flat out on the sofa squished under a duvet. And now I've passed it onto Andrew, bless him. I keep telling him its True Love ;)

Anyhoo, yesterdays digi scrapbook page was the first thing I've crafted since the middle of April! Really enjoyed playing around with the new toy CAP2 as well.

today I have made a male birthday card, have to admit I do prefer paper crafting rather than digital, just because I love hands-on fiddling & faffing.
Although trying to glue the washers onto the paper strip was a bit too much faff......

5x5 white card blank
Creata dark mirror card (black)
backing paper
topper & embellishments from Debbi Moore "shabby chic mechanical"
washers from Andrews tool kit
