So I'm looking for a cute gift for my immediate boss and his soon to be wife...didn't realise how mind numbingly painful this would be! Oh my goodness, there is some tat out there and much of the same old, same old.
Either that or I'm just being picky. (more than likely!)

Finally found a cute salt and pepper set from Not On The High Street.

R for repeat ~ night sky

Such a lovely day today, it was a shame to sit and craft - had a couple of jobs to do in the garden this afternoon, so decided to do a journal page for my book using my new pack of Sharpie pens, sitting in the sunshine. The central image is a stamp by Sheena Douglas, which I won in a previous Butterfly challenge. 'Let your dreams take flight' is a sentiment I have on a stamp, just made the last bit up to fill the page.

I used the pattern around the page as the repeat in different blues and black for the Night sky , then popped in the one pink as a contrast.

It did turn rather chilly late afternoon, so I nipped upstairs and did a quick atc whilst dinner was cooking.

Used a snippet of the blue holographic card I had left from using it as the backing to the topper on the 'bells' Christmas card. I made up the sentiment, wrote it on white paper in silver pen, cut it out and edegd the pieces with artic blue promarker then stuck it on the atc along with the four butterflies. It fits the theme and i alos intend to use it as one of my submissions for an ATC swap i joined in with this month.

Red, Green and White

Time for another Christmas card today, coincidentally the image was going to be used in last weeks Merry Monday challenge of 'bells' but I never got round to using it, but this weeks challenge of the colours fitted perfectly so I used it this time. Best laid plans!

Found the image on Pinterest, added some blue holographic card as a border then made it up to an A5 white card, using Debbi Moores chameleon glitter I traced the outside edge of the roof tops and along the fence to add a bit of sparkle, then lastly coloured the peel off sentiment in blue promarker to finish the card off.
