Again using offcuts of a Debbi Moore sheet, I did this really small card, using gold mirrorboard and some glitter for a sparkle.

Whilst changing my craft stash around (again!), I came across a sheet of Hot Off the Press stamps, which hadn't been used, so I choose this birdhouse one and toppered into a black and white card, then added a few white pearl gems to set it off.

Using offcuts from a design sheet from a Debbi Moore cd, I made this a6 card, haven't sentimented it as it could be used for a variety of occasions.

Hot Diggity Dog decoupage next with a random butterfly stuck on:

is a very tired ted today. Only 2 more working days then I'm off for a week*YAY*
no crafty badness today, just sat and read and finished TAB puzzles.
No wonder I'm tired - way too much exciting stuff happening here!

Had an email from one of my favourite stamp shops today, saying to due to ill health she was having to close up and retire. I only have a few of her stamps but they were great and easy to use. Lovely designs as well.
So I did her a little card to cheer her up at what, I guess must be a sad and worrying time.

Used a digikit from Bella Gypsy designs.

Using a test print on paper of one of the first cards I did when I got my sticky little mits on CAP, I cut out and stuck it onto regular cardstock to make a 5x11 birthday card and accentuated it with a couple of pink and green stick on gems.

then using cap I added a verse insert.

As dad just gets a card for Fathers Day, I thought this year I play around with CAP (surprise!) and do a digital scrapbook/photobook for him. I decided to leave the pages more or less blank and after I had printed it I embellished a bit here and there. Still leaving it quite plain and dad doesn't do fussy.

On the left is the CAP image and on the right the finished project after the sticky stuff had been out.

I hate my hand writing!
The last one is my favourite. (in 3 and 10 I'm wearing the same dress, mum was a great dress maker and made all my skirts/dresses when I was small - till I hit the fashion age *lol*)

Using some free papers and a stamp from a selection of Best of British set, I made this card under the theme of 'Great Britain' for Peel Off Crazy.

image coming soon

Also carrying on the same theme but this time for atc's

The images were originally a postcard I got off of holiday last June, I bought 2, this one and one featuring foreign cars - I thought at the time they would be perfect for atc's but have only just found them this June, having put them in a book for safe keeping.........

another timeline cover for FaceBook, not for my page this time.
Its themed around the phenomenon that is '50 shades of....' trilogy. Haven't read any but its making its way round at work.
Apparently it actually originated as FanFiction from the Twilight fandom. Wow. I never thought I'd see the day when FanFiction hits the mainstream. Some of the best stories I've read are fanfiction, and don't you know - I actually wrote some as well.... in another persona eons ago.
Anyway I digress, onto the image, made to measure for a  FaceBook Timeline cover.

Gap on the bottom left is where the FB picture goes.

Again using the compendium cd, I made this 5x5 card, glittered the bow (I thought it was a good idea at the time *lol*) and stuck a few buttons on.
Think I'm going to use this as a swap card.

Something different for a Birthday.

I used Debbi Moore's Shabby Chic Compendium Collection - which came free with a cardmaking magazine. Used the 'tag' template, resized it so it would sit comfortabley in a C5 envelope, and then printed a backing paper, a topper and a flower off. I decoupaged the flower using the 3 sizes which printed off and roughened them up a bit. For a flourish of ribbon I used some ric-rac ribbon which I 'inherited' from my grandma when she gave me her relic of a sewing machine, which must be at least 30 years old. (Alas, the sewing machine gave up a few years ago so now I use it as my crafting table) and then stuck some buttons on.
For the back I used a blank page of a novel - Bridget Jone's diary to be precise! - which as gone that lovely old page colour you get when books are getting on a bit.
(please note I have two copies of this book, one for keeps and the one to be ripped up)

Having had my 40th birthday in April, I wanted to keep the cards together - normally I keep favourite's in a box, but this time I wanted to make a little album of them, so I gathered them all up, in odd sizes and then hole punched twice and threaded some gorgeous red ribbon through them. (I received 2 birthday atcs so I stuck a piece of cardboard onto one side of them so I could still read who made them)
If you have clip rings you could use these, but I didn't so used ribbon.

Have now decided to put all my swaps from the card groups that I am in, in their own yearly albums.........

a Fathers day card made using CAP.
Our furry and feathered babies always send a Father/Mother Days card ( mothers day if he rememebers to get one!!) so this is the one for Andrew.
As a surprise I picked out an old photo of him, his dad (sadly I never got to meet him) and his dog Cindy at (for a guess) Great Yarmouth.
Gosh, when this photo was took I would either have just been born or at least under 2 years of age.

Here come's the Summer......

I planted up 3 hanging baskets with trailing strawberries..... only these 2 so far. One for me and one for Andrew! And delicious they were too. Any one for tennis????

To celebrate the  Diamond Jubilee - I used the DT freebie kit British Street Party, and googled Her Majesty, the Coronation photo is the offical one by Cecil Beaton, top small is a random photo and the bottom small is a photo of The Queen on Sunday attending the Royal Floatilla. We watched the coverage on BBC HD, it was amazing.

For the insert I looked for poems relating to Her Majesty - the one I used is a Haiku by John Tiong Chunghoo.

A digi-birthday card I did last week, the image is from Bibliodyssey

the insert read:

Be Wild and shocking today
A rebel and a bit of a lout
Go on, put your slippers on the wrong feet
And wear your cardigan inside out
Rock on, its your Birthday

verse by Jon Bratton

another cap production, this time for an anniversary.

the image is from the Graphics Fairy, I used a sepia tint then turned down the transparancy. I was going to do the whole card using the same colour hue, but decided it looked like a tea bag explosion, so opted for the startling white lacey feel.

Sunday, 3 June 2012

Here's a Birthday card I made in the tradiotional way *shock horror*. Used a Debbi Moore Venetian topper, (not sure about this lady - her bosoms are odd!) some gold bling and peel offs.
I scanned the backing paper onto the computer then used CAP to produce an insert, the verse made me giggle.
