Feature Day @ Gecko Galz

Today is my day to feature my Design Team project for March over at Gecko Galz.

I've continued the theme of Bless this Nest which is the theme for this month and made a trio of royal atc's and a Blog/Facebook header.

Excuse the cushion background, I couldn't find my normal sheet of paper!

I dug out an old music book page (had to cut the page down to A4 so it would fit in my printer) and then resized 3 images from Too Tweet Digital Stamps, printed them off and then coloured them in using pencils and fine tip pens. Found a couple of 'wordy' stamps to finish off.

Next up, a Blog/FaceBook header. Verse off of pinterest, just to show where the blog title would go.

I hope you'll join in our Bless this Nest challenge where the winner will receive a $25 shopping spree at the Gecko Galz shop.
The only rule is that you must use at least one Gecko Galz product, which can be something you purchased from the shop or a freebie.
If you sign up for the Gecko Galz newsletter, you'll be able to claim a free collage sheet each month and get first claim on the Super Sunday deals!
Why don't you pop over to the Gecko Galz blog to see all the fabulous designs by the very talented Design Team, don't forget to grab the free digi stamp on each post.
We also have a Facebook Group where there are more monthly challenges for you to play in, each with a Design Sheet to win.

Shades of Green @ Digital Whisper

Joining in with this weeks challeneg at Digital Whisper, shades of green to honour Saint Patricks Day. My great, great x infinity grandma was Irish and she went over to Liverpool in the late 1800's and married my great, great x infinity grandad who was Scottish, the couple then moved to Wales and had a fair few children, who then in turn had my paternal grandad in Derbyshire, so I'm a bit of every nationality and county.

Bless this Nest

A new month means a new Customer Challenge at the Gecko Galz and the theme for the month of March is 'Bless this Nest'. So why not play along - join the challenge with the chance to win $25 at the Gecko Galz shop!

With the Sun peeping through our clouds and slowly warming up the soil, its a tell that Spring is nearly round the corner. Early last week it was time to open up the greenhouse and plant some bulbs - into pots though. I planted 5 or 6 smallish ones with Narcisi bulbs - 50 to pack goes quite a long way!! Also 3 Dahlia Pom Pom bulbs - the bulb is weird looking, bunched together like small sausages. Andrew sowed some French Marigold seeds ready for companion planting with the tomato plants we buy and tidied up the path.
And of course the warmer weather also brings out the garden birds, foraging for food and taking full advantage of our bird feeders and fat balls, singing and chortling away to themselves. Some of the braver birds try to eat from the chicken feeder, but not if a chicken see's them!

My first sample is a 6x6 birthday card, I chose three images from 'Lovely Little Birdies Design Sheet'.

I resized the images so I could use one of my nesting dies to cut them out, for the sentiment panel I colour picked the background off the images and then colour picked the brown in the leaves for the text colour.
A piece of lace from The Stash, and Pioneer Green Nuvo Vintage Drops finished it all off.

I hope you'll join in with our 'Bless this Nest' Challenge, where the Winner gets a $25 shopping spree to spend at the Gecko Galz shop. (The only rule is that you must use at least one Gecko Galz product... this can be one of the freebies, or, of course, you can buy at the Etsy shop).
If you sign up for the Gecko Galz monthly newsletter, you'll be kept up to date with new releases, Super Sunday deals and be able to claim a free digital collage sheet.
If you pop over to the Gecko Galz blog, you will see all the fabulous designs by the Design Team - and maybe grab a freebie or two.
If you haven't a blog/and or/ on Facebook, head over to the Gecko Galz Papercrafting Group where there are more monthly challenges, with the chance to win a digital collage sheet.
